We need to overhaul the entire Immigration system. In Mexico they rape and kill illegal aliens that cross their borders, but we're supposed to open our arms to their citizens? I say no, we shouldn't do that. We need to start raiding places that are known or suspected to be hiring illegals, and just completely shut down their business for one year, and fine them 5,000 dollars for every illegal found to be working at there. We need jail time for repeat offenders that can't get that hiring illegals is bad. We need to setup a detention center just for them. They can help build our new fence for one year, or they can opt to not build it and just spend 3 years in there. I like the idea that Arizona sheriff has and just lock them outdoors where they can't have the luxurious of air conditioning, or a indoor shower or anything like that. We need to set it up where illegal aliens can have their babies on this side of the border, but they can't stay with the baby and they're automatically put in foster care.
We need to have laws that back up that this won't be tolerated. We need to have sales tax as our taxation and just do away with income tax. We need a lot of changes, and it's up to the people to make sure that those are followed through with. I believe that the topic starter had this in mind, but wasn't able to articulate it quite like me, by the way. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I completely agree with sm0k3. Illegal Immigration is also a cause for the unemployment rate to keep rising. People hire illegal immigrants and won't give actual citizens a job. This causes our economy to get worse and worse. There should definitely be harsher punishment for these individuals. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Not to mention the medical costs that are flipped by our government. But I remember a friend telling me about the raids that happened to tobacco farms in Missouri. He said that as soon as the cops left they had another bunch of illegals. It's sad to think that liberals have emasculated and pretty much crippled our border patrol agents. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
