White House Press Corps Dinner

Did we all see Stephen Colbert's attack on the President at the White House press corps dinner? What does it bode for Bush at the midterm elections? It was the most virulent and sustained attack on Bush yet, save for the usual Hollywood retreads who delight most in thinking they are thinking (Richard Dreyfuss, Janeane Garofalo, George Clooney). The difference (and it is a major one) is that they haven't carried out their attacks with Bush sitting 5 feet away. Thoughts?

I didn't see the actual Colbert attack. Over on the wikiDemocrats site (http://www.wikidemocrats.com/) you will find a full accounting of it. To them he is a hero. They even have a link to a "Thank You Steve Colbert" site!
