Your idealism is abundant and I don't fault you for it. However, you may come around to our way of thinking with a few more years of life experience under your belt. Protesting just for the sake of it helps no one's agenda! As for the environment, I am very concerned about it and live a "green" lifestyle. It has nothing to do with politics, just common sense. Save me money, helps the world, etc. All falls under the whole self reliability thing we conservatives hold so dear. ;)

My guess is O'Reilly is a Republican. He does not always toe the party line, but he is one of the few journalists that gives Republicans a break consistently. There's no doubt he leans towards being conservative but on some issues he's not (good example is blaming the oil companies for the high price of gas).
