i HAVE BEEN A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN FOR 56 YEARS, BUT HAVE BECOME TOTALLY FED UP AT THE OUTRAGEOUS PORK BARREL SPENDING BY CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS. I AM GREATLY DISAPPOINTED AT THE APPARENT LACK OF BACKBONE BY OUR PRESIDENT TO VETO A BILL, ANY BILL, FOR ANY AMOUNT, THAT MIGHT REFLECT POLITICAL COURAGE ON HIS PART. I THEREFORE CHANGE MY PARTY AFFILIATION TO INDEPENDENT, HOPEFUL THAT i CAN FIND SOME CANDIDATE, WHATEVER THEIR PARTY, WHO BELIEVES IN FISCAL DISCIPLINE IN SPENDING THE TAXPAYERS MONEY.

This registered Republican from Upstate NY has had enough! After seeing Anne Coulter, the party attack dog, embarass herself and our party during her Today Show interview with Matt Lauer, I've decided I am too embarassed to be associated with the leaders of this party. I will be working with everything I've got to return the party to something we could respect. I may not be for abortion, or gay marriage but I am definitely not for the current party leadership and their attack dog antics! I have no respect for those who hang onto power only thru undermining others as opposed to actual leadership. It's a weak position. Those who coddle the mentally ill claiming they representing us, prepare for a backlash!

Republican and Democratic parties, and especially their leadership, still do not get it. The petty perks of office claimed by these leaders do not preclude members of Congress from having their offices searched from due process of serving a warrant. Members of Congress are elected and do not warrant special treatment when an overwhelming amount of evidence points to corruption. The Jefferson investigation is a win for the people, DO NOT GET IN THE WAY. Your attitudes are the reason government remains the least trusted piece of society.

I am a Republican contributor and Tax Payer and I am livid at the Republican leadership considering allowing illegal immagrants legal status. They broke the law and jumped ahead of the line of immagrants waiting to enter our country.
It is an absolute disgrace for the Republicans to even consider allowing it. If the Republicans wish to win the next election, they better start listening to the people. The people like who contribute to Fed and State taxes and follow the rule of law. W. Werner |
