We honor 2,996 people who died on September 11, 2001.
The official list includes only 2,974 people. However, there are 24 people who were declared missing that day that still remain unaccounted for. Many of these 24, didn't leave behind the family and friends that could push to be included in the official toll. I include them here, because I would rather wrongly include someone, than wrongly exclude them. To the right are various lists of the 2,996 victims.
