I entered some information several months ago here. I challenged all candidates to answer. (I'm pretty sure it got deleted, yes it did!)
I sent inquiries to my fellow Tennessean Fred Thompson to answer my profile that is journaled on Fred08. Nothing yet.. I am far, far from sold on ANY Republican Candidate. Fred's tie to large corporations gives me pause. He voted very pro business when he was our Senator). I want to know he also will defend our food supply. None of us know the source of our food until Country of Origin Legislation (COOL) is passed as a bill of its own. No more Administrative and Congress delays. Congress hasn't funded it and the administration is ignoring it. 92% of all Americans want to know where our food is grown, processed, and distributed. So far NO Republican candidate has taken a position. It is obvious that the President of the United States and Congress are responsible to provide for the common defense and general welfare of all United States citizens. If our food supply is a risk from foreign and domestic bio-terrorism this certainly questions basic needs of all. Food, Water and Shelter. Want to learn more? Go here: Safe Foods Home Cooperative http://safefoods.wetpaint.com/ Anyway do a Search this wiki for the keyword food. At least some of it hasn't been deleted. :}} The deliberate pet poisonings and human food poisonings certainly should wake up surely to goodness one Republican candidate! |
